REL Pacific at McREL International

missionREL Pacific is one of ten Regional Educational Laboratories established and funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences. We connect educators in American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia (Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap), Guam, Hawai’i, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. We do this through research, evaluation, and technical assistance in the areas of teacher effectiveness, family and community engagement, college and career readiness, and optimizing data systems. REL Pacific is operated by the Honolulu-based Pacific Center for Changing the Odds, a division of McREL International, a private nonprofit corporation that draws upon the best of education research to translate what works into innovations and results.
